THE FREE ST MAARTEN TEAM

Sherlyn has been born and raised on the French side of the island, but as all residents, she is fluent in both English and French. Sherlyn has operated an activity desk before she joined Free St Maarten. She knows most of activity operators on the island personally and is the best person to advise you if you have any questions about the different attractions and activities you could book during your vacation.

Sherlyn enjoys meeting the Free St Maarten guests and she frequently picks up our clients from their hotels and drives them to their preview appointments. This mother of three - soon four! - still finds the energy to manage the Free St Maarten office in addition to her other duties.

Nancy grew up in Berlin, Germany and moved to St Maarten a few years ago, because part of her family resides on the island. She has formal hotel management training and is fluent in English and German. Before Nancy joined Free St Maarten, she worked at one of the island's leading resorts and is well experienced in responding to questions guests might have about their stay on the island.

Nancy is very helpful in answering specific questions about the island - from culture, special accommodations requirements, churches for different denominations, local nightlife - if she doesn't know the answer right away, she is willing to do the research.

Our Jamaican team member Michelle calls St Maarten her home for many years now and she truly loves this island. Her professional experience includes teaching and modeling. She enjoys the island's international nightlife and will be able to point you to the hottest nightclubs or events during your stay. Also, if you wish to know where to find the latest French fashion for reasonable prices, Michelle will be able to guide you.

The founder of Free St Maarten is Jan - formerly from Germany, but living in the Caribbean for 14 years. He acknowledged the strength of the Internet in providing information to vacationers, but also saw the lack of personalized service in automated e-commerce solutions. Free St Maarten is a brand of his company DigiPost, with offices in St Maarten and Miami Beach.
